A friend said ‘Weather Report with a Mojito’ not sure he was referring to this track but such a great line I wanted to quote it. The first mango tale is floaty and once again those Henry Mancini colors came into play. There was a little high scrapey sound I created by scratching the strings which developed into the second mango tale. A different direction - me playing the melody doubled with vibes. Piano solo by Kait followed by Nick on the Vibes (whoa totally jaw dropping!!) - Mish on the luscious breathy vocals and Bill on harmonica.. Aaron on congas and bongos and Jake on traps. Not sure what all this turned into but it brings back such lovely memories of places I’ve only ever imagined. It just felt like a great way to leave the record.
